The primary goal of the African Children’s Choir™ is to raise awareness of the need of destitute and orphaned children in Africa and to raise funds for continued development and support of the Choir’s relief and development programs. Once Choir members have completed a concert tour, they will return to their homelands with the support, care and education necessary for bettering their future and that of their brothers and sisters. They are Africa's future.
Twenty-two million American women smoke, and a majority of them want to quit. Though quitting is difficult, support from family and friends makes a big difference. In fact, support can make a smoker 50 percent more likely to quit successfully.

Diane is a big supporter of the Circle of Friends as someone who has quit smoking, she also partakes in the Mini10k that the circle of friends host in the Summer.

The Joyful Heart Foundation (JHF) is committed to the total healing and recovery of survivors of sexual assault by introducing unique programs centered on dolphin-human interaction in the wild as a way of stimulating a survivors healing journey.
By working hand-in-hand with rape crisis centers and counselors as well as dolphin experts, JHF synthesizes all components of the healing process (mental, physical, emotional, spiritual, social and environmental) into one therapeutic experience. The positive effects of dolphin-human interaction in the wild can be unparalleled. The Joyful Heart Foundation provides this safe, unique and liberating experience as part of a retreat program, free of charge, with hopes of providing a powerful step in a survivor's journey to reclaiming a joyful heart. The Joyful Heart Foundation was Founded by Diane's co-star and close friend Mariska Hargitay.
Habitat invites people of all backgrounds, races and religions to build houses together in partnership with families in need.
Habitat has built more than 200,000 houses around the world, providing more than 1,000,000 people in more than 3,000 communities with safe, decent, affordable shelter. HFHI was founded in 1976 by Millard Fuller along with his wife Linda.
Diane has participated in building with Habitat for Humanity and continues to try and involve herself as much as possible.

The mission of the American Legacy Foundation Mission is to build a world where young people reject tobacco and anyone can quit.
The goals of this program is to arm all young people with the knowledge and tools to reject tobacco and to eliminate disparities in access to tobacco prevention and cessation services.
Diane was recently named Ambassador to this organization and is very involved with helping promote and educate on the effects and ways to quit smoking.
The Rape, Abuse & Incest National Network (RAINN) is the nation's largest anti-sexual assault organization and has been ranked as one of “America’s 100 Best Charities by Worth magazine.
amfAR's mission is to prevent HIV infection and the disease and death associated with it and to protect the human rights of all people threatened by the epidemic of HIV/AIDS. In 2004 Diane was the event co-chair for the AmFAR Rocks event where many celebrities and people gathered to support this cause.
